Mandy Peltier
Mandy Peltier is an artist and instructor who predominantly works in the fine art medium of colored pencil, and her desire is to portray her subjects in such a way that they cause the viewer to pause, reflect, and see the beauty in what is too often taken for granted or never noticed. Mandy's award winning drawings are known for appearing realistic in nature, and her artwork has been displayed in gallery and museum exhibitions, in private collections, and her artwork and tutorials have also been published in various books and magazines, such as Fine Art Connoisseur, Colored Pencil Magazine, and more. Mandy has taught classes and workshops, both in person and online, for various art centers and groups, Winsor & Newton, Michaels Stores, Ann Kullberg, and more. Mandy has achieved her signature status through American Women Artists and her CPSA and CPX signature statuses through the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), and she currently serves as the Membership Director for CPSA and enjoys serving its members in this capacity. When Mandy is not creating art or teaching an art class, she enjoys spending time with her family in the Chattahoochee Valley, working out, reading, drinking copious amounts of coffee, gardening, as well as other creative interests such as soap making, crocheting, sewing, playing the piano, and singing.
