a little more about us
Elizabeth Cliatt
Elizabeth is a Columbus native and steadfast champion of the city. Her path to Galerie leadership was born from both an entrepreneurial spirit and her love for people, their passions and how different perspectives can come together to create powerful change. Elizabeth received her BS in Business from Columbus State University and later her Masters in Family Business from Kennesaw State University. Her education, coupled with her experience in both corporate Marketing and Family Business practice, brings a unique perspective to Highland Galerie where she manages both internal operations and external communications. A curious soul, Elizabeth finds abundant inspiration in the beauty of daily life as well as in Highland Galerie’s growing community. She believes that the community is truly at the heart of everything they do, so much so that she resides right around the corner from the Galerie with her husband Wade and young daughter Clark.
LANDY CARTLEDGE
A natural and perceptive creative, Landy’s passion for the sensory and thought-provoking nature of art has been at the forefront of her life since before she can remember. First starting as a creative outlet, Landy’s love of art developed into an educational path, receiving her BA in Studio Art & Art History from University of Georgia. After spending time working in the gallery world of New York City and receiving her Curatorial Certificate from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Landy returned South where she received her Masters in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University. Similar to her sister, Landy also has a deep love for her home, Columbus, and worked as a curator for the Columbus Museum before embarking on this entrepreneurial venture that is Highland Galerie. She brings both her acute eye for talent as well as her industry expertise to managing works, organizing exhibitions and overseeing the day to day logistics of life at the Galerie. Landy and her husband Andrew reside in Columbus with their beautiful baby girl, Weezie!
Both sisters believe their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives are key to ushering the Galerie into this next chapter. Stronger together than they are apart, Elizabeth and Landy work together to foster relationships and continuously curate a special selection to inspire the community.
